☀️ Margarita
Tequila, Cointreau, lime and salt
This recipe comes from Death & Co via their Cocktail Codex.
Ingredients
- Lime wedge
- Kosher salt
- 2 oz Siembra Azul blanco tequila
- 3/4 oz Cointreau
- 3/4 oz lime juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Rub the rim of an Old Fashioned glass with a lime wedge half way around and dip in the salt
- Place 1 large ice cube in the glass
- Shake the remaining ingredients with ice
- Double strain into the glass
- No garnish or place keep the lime wedge on rim, your choice
Variations
Jalapeño Margarita
- let 3-4 slices of jalapeño sit in tequila for a few minutes
- garnish with a slice of jalapeño
Mezcal Margarita
- swap tequila for mezcal
