Gin, lemon, and orgeat
This recipe was first published in David A. Embury's The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks in 1948.
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 3/4 oz orgeat
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: lemon twist, optional
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice
- Shake until chilled
- Strain into a coupe glass
- Garnish with lemon twist, if desired
