🫧 Sidecar Collins

This isnt a real cocktail but I feel there is a missing piece in the following collection:

• Pierre collins - cognac, lemon, simple, seltzer
• Sidecar - cognac, orange liqueur, lemon, simple
• Sidecar fizz - cognac, orange liqueur, lemon, egg white, seltzer

It feels like there should be a collins like:

Sidecar Collins - cognac, orange liqueur, lemon, simple, seltzer

Lets see how it tastes!

Ingredients

• 2 oz seltzer
• 2 oz Cognac
• 3/4 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
• 1 oz lemon juice
• 3/4 oz simple syrup
• Garnish orange half wheel

Instructions

• Pour seltzer into a collins glass
• Add rest of ingredients into a shaker
• Short shake
• Double strain into glass
• Garnish with orange half wheel

Notes:

• Chose a dry orange liqueur to keep this from getting too sweet
• Used the "citrus to simple ratio" from Tom Collins
