Created in 1958 at Luau, a Beverly Hills Tiki bar.

Ingredients

• 1 oz overproof Jamaican rum, preferably Smith & Cross
• 3/4 oz overproof demerara rum, try Don Q 151
• 3/4 oz gold rum, try Bacardi Gold
• 3/4 oz lime juice
• 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
• 1/2 oz cinnamon syrup
• 1/2 oz falernum
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• 1 dash absinthe
• 6 drops salt solution
• Garnish with a maraschino cherry and tiki umbrella

Instructions

• Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice
• Shake until chilled
• Strain into a tiki mug with crushed ice
• Garnish with a maraschino cherry
