🔥 Chile Paste

This chile paste is used to spice up dry pot and kung pao chicken.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup red Thai chile peppers, dried
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2in piece ginger
  • pinch fresh ground white pepper

Instructions

  • Cut chiles into 2-3 pieces with scissors into heat safe bowl
  • Add just off boiling water to cover and let sit for 20min
  • In food processor/blender, combine ingredients and process until smooth
  • Store in airtight container in fridge for a long time
