Ingredients

• Absinthe
• 1 1/2 oz Rittenhouse Rye
• 1/2 oz Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
• 1 teaspoon Demerara Gum Syrup
• 4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
• 1 dash Angostura Bitters
• Garnish: lemon twist

Instructions

• Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe
• Stir remaining ingredients over ice
• Strain into glass
• Express lemon twist over glass and discard
