🥤 Rumhattan

This recipe came about tasting Averna noticing the cola flavors and wanting to pair it with some rum a la "rum and coke". At the time I'd recently gotten some lovely Nick & Nora glasses. So this I made a rum and coke riff on a Manhattan and served it in a Nick & Nora glass.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Plantation 5 Year
• 1 oz Averna
• 1 dash orange bitters
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• Garnish: orange peel

Instructions

• Stir all ingredients with ice
• Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora
• Express orange peel over the drink and discard
